"My only water “vise” is I still want good water pressure in my shower. A small luxury."

I don't consider that a vice at all! Especially if you have long or thick hair - it's purt-near a necessity!

Thanks for the comment. No, I don't have an electric water heater. It's propane. I am not used to gas anything so not sure what can be done there. I know the temp is set on the low side. We don't use much hot water. Except for showers. We have a well so the water is "free". We use electric to run the pump. I know there's a problem there and is on the long to-do list of things to replace. We are planning several things for catching rain water for later use in the garden. Even with a well, I conserve my use. My only water "vise" is I still want good water pressure in my shower. A small luxury.

Woot! Congrats on the super savings!

Do you have an electric water heater? Is the temp properly set? If it's "too" hot, you're wasting $$ there. Is there some sort of insulation that's available to wrap your water heater to slow heat loss (and the cost of re-heating)?

This leads me to ask another nosey question: Do you have to pay for your water? Are you conserving water?
