I have used Teflon pans for many years and thought they were awesome but once they started to flake and wear down I thought that it could not be good. Then came the reports that it wasn’t good for us. I switched to cast iron and stainless steel.

I have since discovered Green Pan. The pans are made with a ceramic coating called Thermdon. The non-stick pans are free of toxic chemicals. They can be found at  www.hsn.com  The cost is $100 for a six piece set. (if anyone has seen them in stores, please let me know.)

Last week when I pulled into work at my tiny little shop in Brasstown, I noticed this new sign.  Someone is thinking Spring already. I love the concept of a community garden.  Start thinking about gardens now. Make a plan for Spring.

I’ll have more to write about this garden as time goes by and keep you all posted.
